DE HIST 1700, American History ONLINE (SS)

Semester - Grades 11, 12

Prerequisite: 3.0 cumulative GPA, Utah Valley University admission

Stresses movements and developing institutions that are important for an appreciation of American History from the Pre-Columbian period to the present. Analyzes developing political, economic, and social institutions and their interrelationships with, and impact upon, the geographical features of the land. Includes book reports, oral response, research papers, media presentations and applications to current events. Students need to meet with the THS Concurrent Enrollment coordinator, Lisa Pulver, in the THS Media Center through the "schedule" phase in Class Choice.
