What is College

College is any education or training you pursue after high school. This can include traditional four-year universities, community colleges, trade schools, technical programs, apprenticeships, and other specialized training. College helps you gain the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed for your future career and personal goals. Whether you want to earn a degree, learn a trade, or get certified in a specific field, college is about continuing your education beyond high school to open more opportunities for your future.

Who Should Go to College

Anyone who wants to continue learning, gain new skills, or prepare for a career can benefit from going to college. College isn’t just for students who know exactly what they want to do—it’s also for those who are still exploring their options. Whether your goal is to earn a degree, learn a trade, or get specialized training, college can open doors to more opportunities, higher earning potential, and personal growth.
